About
LandLocked is open for submissions from October 9th to December 10th. We publish fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, hybrid/experimental forms, and art.
We seek to publish diverse voices, including works by writers who are people of color, queer, transgender, disabled, indigenous, international, and/or underrepresented in literary magazines. We are interested in work that breaks the boundaries of tradition, form, and genre, that engages thoughtfully with experimentation, and that explores a place unnavigable. We are very open and encouraging of all kinds of unique work, so the best way to get a feel for what we are currently interested in is to peruse our most recent issues.
We do not accept previously published work (this includes anywhere online). Simultaneous submissions are acceptable and encouraged, but please contact us immediately upon acceptance elsewhere and withdraw your submission on Submittable. Please see specific genre requirements for more information before submitting your work. Additionally, please submit only once per reading period unless solicited or invited to submit again. We do, however, allow submissions to multiple genres within the same reading period.
