Biography

Lillian Neely is a second-year Master's student on the Literature and Literature Theory track in the English Department. Her research interests lie in Indigenous literature, specifically regarding the effects of colonialism and the representation of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women. This academic year, she is doing her best to get outside of her comfort zone regarding research.

Lillian is also very into TV shows such as BBC Merlin, Psych, and Supernatural when she has free time.

Teaching

Lillian Neely is currently approaching her ENGL 101 sections through popular media, specifically with The Hunger Games (2012) film. Her approach allows students to engage critically, rhetorically, and personally while also engaging their creativity.
