Michael Johnson

I received my B.A. in English with a minor in Music from the University of New Mexico. My current academic interests are Corpus Linguistics, Genre Studies, Digital Humanities, Medieval Literature and Speculative Fiction. My thesis work will focus on the intersection of speculative fiction and medieval studies, specifically fairy stories and katabasis While working towards my undergraduate degree, I also appeared in professional productions of Guillaume Tell, Norma, and Pirates of Penzance and had a short piece of nonfiction published in Conceptions Southwest literary magazine.
